Maruti-Suzuki has sold 7567 units of Model Ertiga in June 2019 upon 4311 units which were sold 1 year ago, Indicating an impressive sales growth of 76 %.
The 2nd-generation Maruti-Suzuki Ertiga Model has been an achieving success for becoming India’s largest car manufacturer and last month it has outperformed among all the other MPVs on sale in India. In June 2019, Maruti-Suzuki has sold 7567 units of Model Ertiga upon 4311 units which were sold 1 year ago, Indicating an impressive sales growth of 76 %. In the same time period, Toyota Innova Crysta which was registered a sales decline of 25 percent at 4814 units as compared to 6426 units which were sold in the same month last year.

The company has said that this brand has witnessed a sales growth of 60 % since the new model was introduced in Nov 2018 and it has been selling over 8000 units ( an average in the past four months). The Ertiga underwent significant upgrades in 2018 and is spawned by Maruti’s new Heartect platform which underpins a range of other cars. The new model is 55 % more spacious with all the three-rows in use and 9 % more spacious with two rows folded.
The company also announced that the CNG-variant model which was introduced in the VXI trim has also contributed to the overall sales and offering an attractive mileage of 26.20 km/kg.
